My Haircare and Styling

Over Christmas I received some lovely hair care and styling products which I've adored using, so I thought I'd share some of these with you...

Joico Body Lux Shampoo and Conditioner: I hate my hair being flat and lifeless which is why I love these products. I've been using the volumising shampoo to help pump up my thick hair and it works a treat. The current style of my hair allows me to use this, let it dry naturally and enjoy the natural waves and curls of my hair without it becoming flat. The key to this products is oats to give the volume and shine, I can't see myself using anything else in the future I have been converted!

Joico Hair Shake Liquid to Powder: Another fantastic Joico product! This is the texturising hair shake, and like the shampoo is great for creating volume and texture. It's formula literally goes from liquid to powder on the hair, I tend to section my hair and spray lightly from a distance and manipulate it to create more waves and body. It can even be used on slightly dirty hair to counter act the grease if you don't have time to wash it.

OGX KuKui Oil: I love using this product on my dry ends, I have to take care and use sparingly as over use can leave a greasy unwashed feel to your hair but for smoothing out the appearance of split ends this is great.

Structure Glamtex Backcomb Effect Spray: Yes another volumising product but this is genuinely amazing! I just section the hair and spray at the root to give the instant appearance of backcomb with out the hassle of actually backcombing! I particularly like using this when my hair is straight as when I straighten it, it does have a tendency to go a bit flat and limp. I would highly recommend this as a lazy product for those that hate backcombing, the damage it causes and the aftermath of having to tease it out. The only negative about this product is if I've used quite a bit I do really have to wash my hair the next day, I know not a big deal but I hate washing my hair every day!

Have you tried any of these products? What do you use as part of your hair care routine? Leave me a comment below!
