Mini Beauty Haul

Firstly apologies for the delay in post this week, I have no excuse other than I have massively procrastinated/been lazy/been drinking far too much wine the past 2 weeks.

But what I haven't been rubbish at is buying more beauty stuff, so I thought I'd share with you some of the things I've picked up this week...

The first thing I picked up was this Wonder 10, leave in keratin treatment by Osmo. I got this up from a hairdressers in Northampton when I went to visit my mum earlier this week. Although I haven't really been using it enough to give it a proper review what I have used of it so far I love. You literally just spray it onto your hair while its still damp after washing and style as normal. It also contains heat defence which is a great bonus as you don't have to slap on too much product straight after washing and it's only £11.59! (Although, slightly random price?). I will probably give this a more in depth review once I've been using it for a while as I feel this is going to be a staple product in my collection from now on...

Then on Saturday I went into John Lewis and FINALLY got myself some double wear. After sadly finding out my beloved teint resist by YSL is being discontinued, I needed a new full coverage foundation and after hearing so many good things about this one I just couldn't not pick it up. I was colour matched as 2N1 Desert Beige which is perfect for my skin tone and what I've used of it so far I love. I dare say this may be my new favourite (sorry YSL!).

I also needed a new toner so while I was there I also picked up the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic. This is actually the first Liz Earle product I've bought and I'm yet to test it out but I look forward to seeing if it lives up to the brand. I'm not sure whether Liz Earle would be considered as 'high end' as opposed to 'high street' but I think their products are so affordable, although probably not the cheapest toner ever this was only £13.25 which personally I think is pretty good.

I then went into boots to pick up some cotton pads and came across these two products. After reading so many reviews of the effeclar duo, and with my skin not being at its finest lately I thought It was worth the investment to see if it lives up to the hype. It claims to correct imperfections, even the skin tone, unclog pores and reduce the appearance of redness with visible results after 24 hours. So I'm definitely looking forward to adding this to my skin care routine.

I also picked up the miniature thermal spring water. Now my boyfriend absolutely rinsed me for this because he said I was paying £4 for what is essentially a can of water, but I was like 'no no.. this is thermal spring water'. He may be right, In which case I am a complete mug... BUT I saw this on a youtube video, (I think it was Into the Gloss) where they demonstrated how to 'properly' cleanse your face. So I thought why not? It's a nice idea, maybe it will soften my skin... Or maybe I have paid £4 for just a can of water, we'll see.

And a slightly less exciting purchase that I picked up (yes this is less exciting than a can of water), is the rosy lips Vaseline. I had one of these ages ago but I managed to lose it somewhere, so I thought I'd replace it. As its Vaseline its obviously very moisturising but It also has this lovely subtle pink shade so Its not too plain and is great for every day.

So that's every thing, I hope you enjoyed reading this post. As always please feel free to leave me a comment below, maybe you've tried some of these products?.. Or you haven't and would like me to review some of them in more depth? Maybe you have also bought an overpriced can of water? In which case please let me know if it was worth it...

Have a lovely week and thanks for reading,

Ash xx

    1. Thanks, I seem to be getting really mixed reviews about the hot cloth cleanser. It seems people really love it or don't get on with it at all. But I'm loving the skin tonic so may give it a try.

    1. I really enjoy using it as it's got that subtle hint of colour. Me too, I have to use them quite a lot cause mine are prone to getting really dry
