September 2013 Birchbox
Just a quick post today to show you all what I got in my lovely September Birchbox!
So from left to right...
1. Model Cosmetics Party Proof matte lipstick in the shade Kitty.
I've actually worn this a few times since my Birchbox arrived and I really like it. Kitty is a very neutral pink shade and the lipstick itself is really moisturising. With reference to the 'party proof' claim, I did manage to wear it at work for 4 hours before I felt the need to reapply..
2. Molton Brown Ylang Ylang Nourishing Body Lotion.
I have to admit its not my favourite scent, I'd probably prefer something a bit more fruity or sweet but it left my skin feeling lovely and soft.
3. Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution
Bioderma has been loved by beauty blogs everywhere and it's no real surprise as It is a brilliant cleanser. I would be interested to try the Sebium H2O as I tend to suffer with quite oily skin, this one is also recommended for those who suffer with acne prone skin and can be used on other areas such as the back and chest.
4. Green and Blacks Organic White Chocolate
This didn't last very long after opening as by chance I was starving! Although I do enjoy Green and Blacks admittedly the varieties I've tried so far haven't beaten my love for Galaxy.
5. Reverence de Bastien No.7 Nail Lacquer
This came in very pale pink shade, almost comparable to that used in a french manicure. I haven't got round to using this product much yet, although I have found it to be quite watery as It dripped everywhere when testing the colour on my nails. It does recommend applying two coats for full shine.
6. Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Gel
When I first read the back of the product I had no clue what It was for as It advised to massage onto areas of concern. After a bit of research I found Its actually meant to reduce the appearance of cellulite and enhance the colour and tone of the skin. In all honestly I haven't found cellulite to be a problem for me (yet) so I'm not sure I would see the full benefits of it, however I intend to use it on areas where cellulite is most commonly a problem in the hope it keeps it at bay!
Hope you enjoyed having a quick snoop at this months Birchbox, what did you get in yours this month?
Thanks, Ash x
